• 3 Genius Ways to Use Leftover BBQ

    One of the fun things about fall is getting to enjoy some delicious new recipes. Whether you’re barbequing for tailgating or a party in your back yard, you’re sure to have some leftovers you can use in the following delicious recipes. Make your hard work last even longer with these fun, creative dishes that are sure to impress your family or friends.


    Ingredients
    4-5 leftover bbq burgers
    1 c. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 tsp. granulated garlic
    1 tsp. granulated onion
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. parsley
    1 tsp. sugar
    8 buns
    Sliced cheese

    Chop or crumble burgers and place in a frying pan to warm. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, spices and sugar. Let the meat mixture come to a boil. You can add more ketchup if you want more sauce or to stretch the meat further. Turn oven on to broil and place buns on pan to roast. Remove them from the oven and spoon meat mixture on one half of bun. Add a slice of cheese and place in oven until it begins to melt. Top with second half of bun.

    Beef Brisket Street Tacos

    Pickled Onions:
    1 large red onion sliced thin
    2 c. cider vinegar
    4 Tbsp. kosher salt
    4 Tbsp. sugar

    Avocado Cream:
    1 avocado, peeled, pitted and cubed
    1 c. sour cream
    1 garlic clove
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

    Tacos:
    Olive oil
    2 cups leftover pulled pork or beef
    ½ c. chopped green chilies
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 tsp. Mexican oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    Corn tortillas
    Chopped cilantro
    Cotja cheese

    Place onions in a large glass jar. Heat cider vinegar, salt and sugar over low heat until sugar and salt are dissolved. Pour the mixture over the onions and let stand for at least one hour. Cover and keep in refrigerator.

    Combine avocado, sour cream, garlic, cumin, salt, pepper and cayenne in a blender.
    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meat, green Chilies, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne, oregano, salt and pepper. Heat and combine until meat is brown and heated. Warm tortillas in microwave and fill with meat mixture. Top with onions, cheese, cilantro and avocado cream.

    Barbeque Chicken Pizza
    Follow the recipe as it is or add your own toppings.
    1 lb. pizza dough
    2 tsp. olive oil
    ½ c. barbeque sauce
    8 oz. barbeque chicken, shredded
    1 c. shredded mozzarella

    Preheat oven to 500 degrees Fahrenheit with pizza stone. Divide dough in half and roll it out to a 10-inch circle. Brush top with olive oil. Spread sauce on each crust. Top with chicken and cheese. Place pizza on stone and bake until the crust is crisp and cheese is melted, which is about 8 minutes.
